This magnificent 18 hole course, par 70, offers a unique experience for golfers of all levels. The stunning contrast of the harsh grey landscape and lush undulations of the Aguilon Golf Course are spectacular. Carved among the unsympathetic foot hills of the Sierra Aguilon Mountains of rural Almeria the course is a culmination of beautifully contoured fairways, over one hundred pearly white bunkers and six large lakes. The results provide a first class layout albeit favouring the shorter more accurate ball strikers. The more adventurous golfer may decide to tackle some of the challenges the course throws up. It all adds up to balancing the risk against the possible reward, but be warned the closing holes present the toughest challenge. Aguilon Golf Course is an exciting and dangerous course while still suitable for high handicap golfers.
